Khairul Azmir Shoib aka Meme, creates his works based on his interest in children books and stories, especially fairy tales. He is always keen in creating his own creatures and letting his imagination run wild with their costumes and accessories.
His childhood was filled with memories of Star Wars movies, Hans Christian Anderson/The Brother Grimm fairy tales, magical events from the Quran and paranormal events that his family experienced. All this, together with his vivid imagination, became the source of his inspiration for his art when he grew up.
